Erin Wheat

I was born & raised in Acadia National Park, on an island off the coast of Maine. I grew up in a family of NPS biologists, and the roots of my values and interests lie in the protection and preservation of the natural world. I now ramble around Wilson, Wyoming, which is an incredible place to call home. My work focuses on outdoor lifestyle & commercial imagery, as well as environmental conservation via photojournalism. My work is supplemented by my interest and dedication to the power of story-telling, via my company, Erin Wheat Co., which works with imagery within the realm of human relationships.

I have been lucky to chase this dream creating visual content alongside companies such as, Hipcamp, Salmon Sisters, Sanborn Canoe Co., Kuhl, Toad and Co., Huckberry, Free People, L.L.Bean and others. My work has been displayed with publications such as Bangor Daily News, Acadia National Park, Unity Concert.

Iā€™m also incredibly proud to be a member of 2% for Conservation, and organization that certifies businesses and business owners through a rigorous application process who have donated at least 1% of their gross income and 1% of their time each year to conservation efforts.

I frequently work both in the Teton Valley area & worldwide.
